Help Nepal earthquake

Nepal Earthquake 2015

Nepal Earthquake 2015: The April 2015 Nepal earthquake killed more than 9,000 people and injured more than 23,000. Every Nepalese individual in Australia did what they could to love, care and support our loving nation Nepal. Right from the collecting clothes, medical supplies, volunteering and to send funds to Nepal.

On the very first night we started calling medical personnels including nurses and doctors to see who were available to fly to Nepal. We managed to send three groups of nurses and doctors along with tents, dry foods and medical supplies. Thanks to everyone who participated to serve our nation.

We, then started fund raising activities and managed to raise just over $25,000 through online alone. Part of the funds were distributed through NRNA Australia, while remaining funds were handed over to Help Nepal Australia. Besides online, we’ve also participated in the street fund raising.
